A new business has recently opened in St Ives Cornwall -
St Ives MoT Test Centre.
Conveniently located at the top end of town on Penbeagle Industrial Estate. Drive up The Stennack, turn left at St Ives Fire Station, keep going up the hill, opposite the car wash.. Easy to get to - plenty of parking.
They are the only authorised MoT Test Station in town - you no longer need to drive out to St Erth or Penzance to get your car sorted ......
They also do general servicing and repairs for all makes and models. The place is brand new - so they have state of the art diagnostic equipment.
If you need new tyres or a tyre safety check - head up there. They can probably fit replacements more cheaply than the big chains such as Kwik Fit - as I found for myself last week. Also no need to hang around Long Rock or Camborne for a couple of hours drinking lukewarm coffee.
If you're here on holiday - and have had any glitches with you car on the way down - they'll be happy to take a look. If needed they can then fix any problems for you before the journey home. This includes small jobs such as replacing a blown headlight bulb or fixing your windscreen wipers. Also any bigger jobs such as brakes or engine problems.
