St Ives September Festival at The Castle Inn kicks off on Friday evening (11th September 2015) with Sea Shanty Singers from 8.00.

On Saturday (12th) its Boats In The Bay around the harbour - with an after party - and more sea shanties - at The Castle from 8.00.

On Sunday (13th) - carvery from 12.00 followed by live music from 3.00 - an acoustic set from Vincent McCallum.

Fun Pub Quiz with Aunty Liz is on Mondays at 8.30 sharp (14th and 21st).

Entry is free for all gigs - with home cooked food and a wonderful range of real ales on tap.

Textile artist Jo McIntosh is running a programme of Arts and Craft Workshops in St Ives through September:

• Silk Papermaking - Saturday 12th September
• Feltmaking - Thursday 17th September
• Rag Rug - Saturday 19th September
• Silk Painted Cards - Wednesday 23rd September

All of Jo's workshops are friendly - informal - and fun !

All ages and abilities  welcome - including beginners.

Jo also has a programme of workshops in St Ives running through October - and then Christmas Crafts in November and December.

Boats in The Bay - a celebration of the maritime heritage of St Ives.

Around the harbour on the opening day of St Ives September Festival - Saturday 12th September 2015.

A Parade of Sail in St Ives Bay - with St Ives Jumbos and other vessels.

St Ives Community Choir singing on St Ives Harbour.

Grand Scully Race from the foreshore in front of the Sloop Inn starting at 5.00 pm.

All will then adjourn to The Castle Inn for a shout - music from 8.00 pm onwards with The Cadgwith Singers and The Bamaluz Bootleggers.
