A Taste Of Mexico - The Mex - Friday 20th May

The annual St Ives Food and Drink Festival starts on Monday (16th May) with a host of events including food tastings, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations and more. These include:

• Cornish Smoked Meats and Fish - The Digey Food Room
• Cornish Produce - St Ives Farmers Market
• Food and Drink Guided Tour - Valerie Hurry
• Beer Inspired Menu - The Queens Hotel
• A Taste Of Mexico - The Mex Restaurant

The festival culminates with a Producers Market and Cooking Demonstrations on St Ives Harbour over the weekend of 21st - 22nd May. This will include a champagne tasting with festival sponsors Tregenna Castle. Chefs cooking will include Lee Groves - Masterchef semi- finalist and Head Chef at St Ives' newest restaurant Seagrass.

There is also a photography competition - with festival sponsor Isla Negra Wines -  to find the most inspiring photographs of the coastline. You can submit entries at their stand in St Ives on Saturday and Sunday - or enter online on their website:
