St Ives Arts Club are hosting a full and varied programme of events for
St Ives September Festival 2017 - and there is some good stuff.
This includes live music, theatre, comedy, films and talks.
Highlights include ......
Imago Theatre Company - a new production - Molly’s Terms.
"Molly’s terms for living cause her to become increasingly estranged from her studies, herself and the human condition ...... "
Saturday 9th September.
Cornish Women on the Verge - Jack and Jenny - the Musical!.
"When Cornish mining went "scat" the miners ventured to the ends of the earth taking their tools, their skills, their pasties and sometimes their wives and children too! ...... "
Sunday 10th September.
Morgan and Rees - comedy sketch show.
"The dysfunctional duo occupy the uneasy hinterland of our lives, spanning the spectrum between the psuedo-intellectual and the idiot savant ......"
Friday 15th September.
Sweet 'N Sour - comedy improvisation group.
"We incorporate audience suggestions into an array of scenes ranging from high-end humorous wordplay to the blatantly absurd ...... "
Saturday 16th September.
Tyn Daga - Eloise Tregeagle - a musical story.
"An uplifting tale of love, loss and redemption ....."
Friday 22nd September.
There is also a Film Season running over five nights -
with a theme of "Art and Artists".
