Exhibition this week at St Ives Arts Club - Colours Of Cornwall - capturing the light in textiles and metalwork.

Open daily until Friday (19th February 2016) - 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

'Taking the Cornish landscape as their inspiration visiting areas of coastline discovering colours and textures which then encourage new colour combinations; the sparkle of granite, the vibrant turquoise sea and the beautiful lichen. The dramatic skies, seas, sandy bays and weathered rocks provide photographs, sketches and colour swatches collected during coastal explorations to collate into sketch books to inspire.'

Well worth a visit - free entry - work for sale.

This will be followed by the Arts Club Members Exhibition.

At the Arts Club Theatre -

Blabbermouth Theatre - Daisy and Johnny.
On the theme of falling in love - this play looks at the myths and realities in a sometimes light-hearted manner, at others, a brutally realistic way.
Saturday 16th April and Wednesday 18th May 2016.

Nick Harper
Son of the legendary UK singer-songwriter Roy Harper, Nick was born in London and raised in Wiltshire. He played the guitar from the age of 10 and was surrounded by the likes of Keith Moon, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and Dave Gilmour as he grew up.

Wild Willy Barrett's French Connection
From a cafe in Paris, via a hoolie in Dublin, to a night out in New Orleans with rip-roaring fiddle and banjo – this band does it all! A fabulous show suitable for all ages, directed by the inimitable Wild Willy Barrett.
