Textile artist Jo McIntosh is running a programme of Arts and Craft Workshops in St Ives through September:

• Silk Papermaking - Saturday 12th September
• Feltmaking - Thursday 17th September
• Rag Rug - Saturday 19th September
• Silk Painted Cards - Wednesday 23rd September

All of Jo's workshops are friendly - informal - and fun !

All ages and abilities  welcome - including beginners.

Jo also has a programme of workshops in St Ives running through October - and then Christmas Crafts in November and December.

Boats in The Bay - a celebration of the maritime heritage of St Ives.

Around the harbour on the opening day of St Ives September Festival - Saturday 12th September 2015.

A Parade of Sail in St Ives Bay - with St Ives Jumbos and other vessels.

St Ives Community Choir singing on St Ives Harbour.

Grand Scully Race from the foreshore in front of the Sloop Inn starting at 5.00 pm.

All will then adjourn to The Castle Inn for a shout - music from 8.00 pm onwards with The Cadgwith Singers and The Bamaluz Bootleggers.

A great family day out and a fundraiser for a good cause.

An eclectic mix of stallholders that changes week by week according to the season

Fresh local produce - vegetables, meat, fish,Cornish cheeses, bread, bakery, preserves and lots more.

Local hand-made crafts.

A cafe with ample seating - and buskers to entertain you.

Well worth a visit - and open every week - not just for the Summer.

The market will be open on both Thursdays during St Ives September Festival - details of special Christmas and New Year markets will be announced in due course.

The Summer season has really kicked off in St Ives - and lots on over the coming weekend, next week and through August.

Here is a small selection for the weekend:

Tonight (Friday 31st July 2015) - 9.00 pm - The Castle Inn.
Live music - Paul and Theresa Le'Vis - at the best traditional pub in St Ives.
A fun night of sounds from the 60s and 70s.

Saturday (1st August) - 10.30 am to 5.00 pm - St Ives Arts Club.
Remixing Dreams - a collective exhibition of independent local artists.
Open daily until Friday 14th August.

Sunday (2nd August) - 3.00 pm - The Castle Inn,
Live music  - Liam Jordan.
A relaxed afternoon of acoustic music and real ale.
Sunday carvery available from 12.00 - 3.00.
